In an era characterized by globalization, transcultural mobility, and increasing environmental awareness, clothing has evolved beyond aesthetic functionality into a medium of identity, adaptability, and ethical consciousness. The study investigates how khadi, historically associated with Indian heritage and Gandhian philosophy, can be transformed into a versatile and globally relevant textile suitable for contemporary urban lifestyles.
