Impact of Organisational Support and Justice on Voice Behaviour of Higher Education Teachers of China: Psychological Ownership as a Mediator

Abstract
Voice behaviour is a comparatively less explored area when it comes to organisational impact. This study was aimed towards exploring teacher’s voice behaviour and how determinants like organisational support and justice have an effect on it. Moreover, a mediating effect of psychological ownership was also explored which could have impact on the voice behaviour. A cross-sectional study with survey data analysis was the primary method of study. The sample was chosen from higher education teachers in China and 501 valid responses were collected. The result suggested that support and justice both have significant effect on voice behaviour. Psychological ownership on the other hand has a partial mediation effect on the voice behaviour. The empirical finding suggested that to increase voice behaviour among teachers, it is important to have organisational support and justice in an organisational environment.
